What would you do - Math GCSE?
-
So im nearly done with my math GCSE, only 6 months to go. Our GCSE is split up into three modules, 1,2 and 3. The scores for each of these modules will be added to give me an overall GCSE grade. Ive already done 1 and 2 and got an A in both. However, the rest of my class got C's/D's on module 1. For this reason, my whole class has been put in to resit module 1, including me. I was angry at this because I had already worked hard to get my A, and they said the reason I have been out in to resit is because I was only 2 marks over the A grade boundary. And when I do module 3 which makes up for about 50% of the GCSE unlike the other two which make up only 25%, if i do bad my overall score will suffer. They gave me the option of resitting, or starting module 3 work by myself? what would you do? bare in mind that by studying for module 1 test which we have already done we are waisting valuable module 3 studying time.

Answer:
I'd choose Module 3. It is easier to learn on your own anyway and you are going to have extra time to do Mod 3. If you get an A or A* in Module 3, you will get an A overall, which is fine! When I sat Module 3, I found it the easiest anyway, so when you're an A grade level, you should do very well!!! Good luck xx
