Can I get into UCLA or UC Berkeley?

Can I get into UCLA, UC Berkeley, UCSD, USC or Stanford?

  • Be Honest: GPA (Sophomore/Junior): Unweighted=3.83 Weighted=4.08 -My GPA has actually improved each year, so I don't know if that looks good or not (My parents never motivated me to get good grades, so I kind of motivated myself). Classes (All four years): 2 Honors & 5 AP Extracurricular: - Swim Team all four years + team captain for Junior and Senior - President of World Language Club - President of World Causes Club - 100+ hours volunteering in hospital - Volunteering in Chile, and Guatemala in Health Clinics for poor people - Academic Award for Honors Chemistry - SAT Score: 2100 - I'm also Half White/Half Colombian if that helps - Only person in my school to take AP Spanish Literature - Very Helpful TA for AP Spanish - Oh, and I'm an in-state applicant

  • Answer:

Well trust me it you have a better chance than I could unless I make a meteoric rise you are at the apex and yes improvement means your interviewer will likely assume that this trend will continue into your college years. Plus if you have a ratio slanted towards GPA rather than IQ this will show you are a hard worker and not just naturally gifted. If this holds true than you reside on the extreme left of the spectrum and I at the extreme left for I was born with an IQ bordering 200 and they say with my edietec memory it is slowly on the rise I have remained untested for some time but in approximation it is at the 214 mark sadly my work ethic is detrimental to my GPA so even though I can get A's and B's on tests with ease I am cursed with a sense of futility which blinds me to thee import of my studies. I have the utmost faith in your ability to succeed. Be bold and your path shall need no torch.
