Can you be too young to wear a weighted vest?

Can i ask a (lunch supervisor with traffic safety vest on) at my elementary school to let me wear it?

It's fine to ask, but they are very likely going to say no. That vest helps to identify them quickly and easily to everyone around, and not wearing that vest could be a safety hazard and also potentially be against the rules that the lunch supervisor has to follow, which could get him/her in trouble with the boss.

Um, why would you want to do that anyways? They won't let you because it's part of their job to wear it and they could get in trouble if they don't. The reason that they have to wear it is so that kids can see that they're the ones in charge and that they have to listen to them. I don't know why you'd think they would let you because you aren't in charge and unless you have good reasoning to wear it, then they won't let you. I mean, if you do have a reason that's valid, then they probably will but it'd have to be a pretty good reason. They especially won't let you wear it if you're a student because that would show the other kids that they can just ask for it too and then they would never get to wear it and they might lose part of their title among the kids who have to listen to them.
