Online school good or bad?

Is online high school a good choice?

  • Hey guys, I was wondering if you could help me. I was wondering if online high schools is a good choice and would be the same as regular schools in college acceptance. I am not an anti-social student, I was ASB president last year, I have many friends, that is not the reason I want to take online classes. I am currently taking honors english, physics, and algebra 2 in freshmen year and have A's. Online school is something that I want for the flexibility, I feel stressed from waking up in the morning and cramming everything. I feel it would be great if I could work when I choose to. I would still try my best to get A's of course. Also, a question for those that are taking online classes, do you still go out with your friends and stuff like that? One of the things I'm afraid of is not seeing my friends every day. Thanks for any help. Also, does this seem like a good online school to you guys?     i dont think online would be good... even if your sitting in 1 class for 1 hour, at least your moving, and also, even if you have alot of friends, college is where you make most of them. and it would give me a head ache to stare at a computer screen for too long. but thats just social stuff. if your financially in trouble and its cheaper, then sure y not? :D best a luck

From my opinion/perspective no, I don't know if all schools have it but check and see if your high school has online courses, you can take physics for example online while still going to school for the others it is a really good idea and if they don't have it suggest it to your school because honestly I strongly consittered online schooling a year and a half ago, but I realized that half the fun in school-ESPECIALLY High School- is meeting new people, creating new friendships And new enemies lol everyone no matter what they say EVERYONE loves gossip some even crave it and dealing with problems from rumors and being backstabbed to a finding your highschool sweet heart is what makes us stronger as people and prepares us for the real -harsh- world. I know I sound like a guidance counsellor here but hear me out if I would have gone through with it I would deeply regret missing theese moments.
