What are some ways to study?

Help! What are some useful ways to study all these notes?

  • I I am going into my sophomore year in 2 and half more weeks now and I am taking AP World History. During summer break we had to read 6 chapters and take notes by doing A.S.P.I.R.E. (Artistic. Social. Political. Intellectual. Religious. Economic) and we had a goal of 10 notes for each topic for each chapter. Well I have all my notes typed up and it has 28 pages and I am going to say I have at least 400 to 500 some notes. I have a test on these 6 chapters and I need to study my notes. What are some helpful ways to study them? I can't do flashcards because it is a lot to write and I don't have a lot of index cards....Oh and I am choosing to study from now to September 2. ( School starts August 30 and I have the class The 30th the 1st and the 3rd that week)

  • Answer:

Well break them all up into a time-line then focus on an event/chapter then read all your notes for one of those categories, then find a way to say it in your own terms so that you understand it, then move on to the next category and continue until you finished one whole event/chapter and try to only look at the type of category and recite what you know. Continue doing that for all of the events/chapters. And if that doesn't help get together with some people you know are taking the same class and have a study group at someones house or at a restaurant to go over the information.
