What is the best way to study for exams?
-
I have about 5 days left for exams. I have a french, science and english exam. I know most of my french, and for my english we will get notes we took in class, because we will have to write an essay about the topic they give on exam day. The main thing I am worried about is science. I am currently at 85% in science, and even if i get a 70% on the exam, i will lose my chances of getting into the honor roll. My exams are in about 5 days, and I have studied the main portions of chemistry and physics for my science practical already. I only need to intensely study biology, but i still need to review and recall chem and physics. Do you guys have any suggestions? On science, english OR french? Please don't say "oh, you should have started studying a LONG time ago" i know that, I did study a bit, i just need to study more intensely now. I have a P.A. day a day from tomorrow, and also the weekend, so any ideas? If you have any tips on exam anxiety and stuff please tell me, I'm VERY nervous. This is my first exam. Please and Thanks!

Alright. I am a 4.0 student and on the President's list. I also study less than most people. Here's how I do it my way: 1. Buy Green Tea and cook it then drink it. Don't buy the ones where it comes in a bag. Buy the ones where you scoop the dried leaves and put it in a cup or a tea pot. For some reason, Green Tea helps me focus really well. It also gives me energy to study. 2. Alright the next step is figure out what is on the test. Usually, your teachers or professors will give you a guideline on what will be on the test. Don't read the whole chapters. Just find the answers to what is on the test. Do one at a time. Wait, here's the important part. If you have a laptop then write all of the things you're studying on the laptop. Write the important things and summarize it on your laptop. Then, after you're done finding all the things that are on the test and you summarized it on your laptop, then go over the material on your laptop over and over again. All of this can be completed within 1 day if you spend at least maybe 7 hours. That's what I do for every exam and I ace it all the time. Well, I hope this helped you and good luck!

The first answer pretty much summed it up, I do agree about the green tea thing! It actually really helps! At my school we don't get a study guide for the final test, but we do get them for the other tests we do throughout the semester. I usually keep all of those and go through them. Its the easiest way I've found to study for final exams.
