How many days in a school year?

How many days a year can I miss school?

• it's december and i've been out of school for 8 days so far. 4 because we had to go to ohio because a relative was dying, 2 days last week because i got sick and got an eye infection, and then another two this week because i got a stomach bug that was going around school. today i still don't feel like going to school, but i want to see if it would be unethical to miss another day. i mean, i'm a good student and i get all A's and B's, and so far i've made up all of the work that i've missed, except for a bio lab and history quiz that i missed last week, but next week i can probably get done both of those and anything i missed this week. i mean, obviously if i'm sick i shouldn't go to school, and it wouldn't be a problem if hadn't missed the 4 days earlier in the year, but i did, so on my transcript it'll say i missed a lot of days. basically i won't be able to miss any more days this year. is it worth it, you think, to stay home today?

  A. you can as many days as you like, but be prepared to pay lots of absent fines if your sick ur sick u can't help it. but days were u r lazy and don't want to go to school, could affect u later on in the year. u could of missed an important announcement or a fire drill. All i will say is if you are going to miss school ask ur friends to send u the work so u cant catch up, u might be a grade A student, it doesn't mean that u can flunk ur way though school.
