What is a provisional public school?

Public or private school? what should i do? please read!!!!!!!!!?

  • Okay, so last year for Seventh grade i started out in a Private catholic school, but we moved further away and i chose to go to the local public middle school for the rest of the year. Now its summer, and im not sure where to go for 8th. The public school has free dress, electives i love, more kids, and fun teachers, but i didnt do as well in school grade-wise as i did in private. The private school has smaller classes, im close friends with everyone, my best friend is there, I got almost straight A's. Both schools go to washington D.C, and both have end of the year dances. There is alot less pressure at the private school to do drugs and other stupid things, but public is so fun. But the other school would be too. My parents say i can choose where i want to go, but i have NO idea. So if you have any suggestions or advice, PLEASE share. thanks, xoxo

    If you are trying to get into a good college than go with the school where you will get better grades...makes a big difference on the application (assuming you will get a good enough education to do well on the ACT /SAT). if it doesn't matter if the college you go to is hard to get in to then go where you think you will have a better chance of finding out what you want to be in the future.

If you are trying to get into a good college than go with the school where you will get better grades...makes a big difference on the application (assuming you will get a good enough education to do well on the ACT /SAT). if it doesn't matter if the college you go to is hard to get in to then go where you think you will have a better chance of finding out what you want to be in the future.

Private schools to do DRUGS?! I would suggest going to a private school, smaller classes means that there is more focus in the group and thus you could gain more...Public schools tend to be bigger and less focused, think of what will benefit you in the long term, plus, I wonder why your parents dont seem bothered about which school to go to...that seems worrying.

well, if you have friends at that school and you are so close to to privet school. then why not go to privet.in my when i was smaller i changed like 6 or 7 different schools and it was hard getting used to a new school. new friends, new teachers. but i will say the same thing, see for yourself which school you think is right for you.
