I can't focus at all in school?

I just can't focus in school anymore?

• These past two years have been very hard for me. I don't retain anything we learn because I'm not focusing. My mind is constantly running, but it's hardly ever staying with the topic I'm learning about it class. Usually it's a book I'm reading, a film I'm writing, my plans after school, other classes... Anything and everything! I always try my hardest to stay focused but I just can't. By the time I snap out of it the lesson is usually over, and then I get so frustrated when I can't figure out how to do my course-work I lose focus on that. I'm a smart kid and I'm used to be an A-B student but my grades are starting to slip because I just can't remember because I can't focus. I'll try to study for two hours, with the computer and TV turned off and my iPod on calming music and my mind seems to go MORE nuts!! ADD runs in my family, my mom, dad and brother all take medication for it, I'm the only one who doesn't. Could that be the case? :/

  If you tryed you're best and it didnt work, a little prescription medication wouldent hurt somtimes. Or you could just try somthing like focus factor.
