everyone gets scared, its completely natural, even people good with stuff like that, you'll be fine, just remember everyone is in the same boat as you... metaphorically...

If you get made fun of, ignore them and tell a teacher. If you dress weird (what is "weird", anyways?) so what? If you don't get your friends classes, big whoop! That is life, make some new friends. This stuff is all your opinion, do you want a bag or back pack? What would work better for you?
