What is the difference between A-levels and a BTEC course?

    BTEC Courses are more for vocational studies. They have range from level 1 - level 3. Level 3 is equivalent to A-Levels. A Levels aren't voacational, and most contain exams in order to pass the subjects, where as BTEC Courses are 100% coursework.

The difference is that you amount to nothing in life and will fail in everything you do. You suck.

Not 100% about this, but I think BTECs have no tests involved , just coursework for the full grade whereas A levels a high percent would be determined by an exam(s) so generally BTECs are easier to get higher grades in but might not be seen as good as A levels and there usually more practical, like one of my friends is doing a construction BTEC and another health and social care
