Where are some places a 17-year-old can work?

Places for Work Experience in Melbourne, Australia?

• I'm a year 10 student in VIC, Australia and am very passionate about Architecture. I've got Work Experience in August and I can't find any places to go! I'm starting to get worried, because I know that with each day that goes by, places are filling elsewhere. I've been looking all over the shop for Architectural Offices that are willing to take students for Work Experience. The problem is that whenever I email a company, their places are either already filled, or they're not a big enough company to take me on board for a week. If you knows of any places that you've either done Work Experience at before, or that you just know of in general, could you please let me know? Signed, 'Freaking Out'.

  Hi 'someone I may know whose name may start with T' .... :) I'm in the same boat, not to worry But you may not find the placement you're looking for, I know from experience. Look for something similar like a graphics designer, etc. That's the best I can offer :)
