I have to write a personal statement. Any help?

I left school for a year to work and now have to write a "statement of rationate" for readmission. Help?

• The statement should be 2000 characters max. but I can barely write 100. I left in the summer of '08 to make money and had planned to go back for Fall '09 but now I'm nervous and I don't know why. :/ Maybe I'm embarrassed because the job a got is in retail and it's a total **** position that I feel like I've wasted my time with. I do have an A- average but I'm so nervous about writing that statement of rationale. Any advice?

  You could say you left to work for the summer to help pay for your education. While working for the summer you realized how important a collage education is based on the job you were qualified for. Without an education many of the prestigious and well paying jobs are out of reach without education. It is this lesson that has motivated you to commit even more to studies and success in the academic arena.
