Is it possible to take chemistry freshman year of high school?

  • i'm about to go into high school and i was wondering if you can take chemistry freshman year of high school. we started learning chemistry in 8th grade and i want to do it while it's still fresh in my mind. i'm taking some advanced classes right now and have all A's so i was thinking it wouldn't be too hard for me.

    Mhm, it's definitely possible. I took chemistry as a sophomore, but i had tons of freshman in my class. The thing is, you need to have finished Earth/Space Science and Biology to move on to chemistry or physics.

Yes it is possible, I have a friend who took chemistry his freshman year and trigonometry as well but he is a genius, he had a 36 on his ACT in eighth grade and was taking math classes at high school while in junior high. He also had to take a few tests to skip biology to prove he knew it. However, if you truly feel you can do it, yes it is possible.
