  • Answer:

    (1) Can you get a tutor? It would really help you to be individually tutored by someone who is really advanced in those subjects. Really try to find such a person, even if you have to pay them. (2) Use your weekends and school vacations to leap ahead of everyone else in your class. The secret to getting good grades is to NEVER being learning material for the first time when the teacher is teaching it in the class. Once you get ahead in the school "game," then just stay ahead. For example, I think you said that everyone at your grade level is just now learning linear equations. Well, it would be far better for you if you had learned linear equations one year ago. That could have happened if, when you were 8 years old, you began "leap frogging" ahead in the educational system by home study on weekends and during school vacations. Well, you can't redo the past. But you can start taking this approach for the future. You have 8-10 years before you can attain your dream of working for Odyssey moon on the Isle of Man in UK. So, start "leap frogging" now! It will take some extra effort at first. But it will PAY OFF with you attaining your dream. And once you get ahead, it will actually make school easier. Let other kids play computer games and soccer on their weekends and during school vacations. You have a DREAM!
