How long does it take to get my high school diploma online?

How long does it take to get your High school Diploma? Is he lying to me?

My ex boyfriend (baby's father) claims that he got his HS diploma in less than 3 months and will joining the military in Jan(he dropped out of HS our senior year, what a lame). I suspect he's lying to me. He doesnt own a computer, his car is broken, and he works long night shift at a gas station so he sleeps during the day....He's pretty much struggling finacially although he does pay me child support, so I've wondered why he wont just join the military now. Why wait until Jan?....This is why I think he's lying. If I were in a shitty situation like him I wouldnt wait 3 more months before joininig.
