What do I have to do to get into medical school in England?

How can a British Citizen living away from England get into Secondary school in the U.K?

  • I am a 14-year-old British Citizen, living away from the U.K, in Jamaica and would like to know how to get into High School there, without having to be treated like a Foreigner. P.S. I've also heard that I would have to go on a waiting list, for about 6 months, but I would have to be in England for the 6 months, waiting, without a school, is this true? Please, I need help, very much, I am intending to begin my 10th grade there. Thank you in advance.

  • Answer:

your best bet is to decide where in England you want to live and contact the education department there who will tell you what you need to do. It's unlikely you would have to live in England for 6 months before you could apply as by law if you are 14 you must be in full time education in England.
