Is this fair on me and amy?

• Me: Miss i dont want to do the work experience any more but ive already handed in my form soo. Miss D : Well tuff you cant just decide about these things so you are going to go on monday, you cant just decide at 2 30 on the friday before you go that you dont want to do it anymore! And why are you here amy to hand in your form? Amy: No im the same as Zara Miss D : Well TUFF now this is ridiculous yous are 15 for crying out loud so yous ARE going and that's the end of it NOW GET BACK TO CLASS!!!! Me : While walking away i said well do you know what Amy i ain't going i will just lie in bed and just not do anything! Amy said the same Miss D : Actually both of yous just get back here but me and amy just sort of stood there and she came up behind us and turned us both round with her hands and said it's not even the fact that it's going to be in your names like the work experience manager wont say oh amy or zara it will be the School name! it will give us a bad one! and she was pure shouting at us in the corridor and said do you know what yous don't go on monday then NOW GO TO CLASS AND GET OUT OF MY SIGHT! Amy : She said dont go where? Then i looked back and Miss D just said don't go to the work on Monday morning but YOU 2 will both be at school with me for the week! And will both receive a spanking for wasting other peoples time where other people would have wanted the job. And we left but because private schools can give out there own punishments (well where i stay they do) can she spank us? and is it fair?? My mum knows about this and she had to sign the note and she DID!

  No school is allowed to spank you in the United Kingdom. It is against the law whether you are in private or state school. However, I think you are being rather immature and rude to arrange to do work experience after signing up for it. The staff have to work very hard to find places that will accept work experience placements and it must have been very annoying for the teacher that you just couldn't be bothered. Someone else could have had that placement. How would you feel if you were in her shoes? Is that fair? Why do you not want to take the placement? It is very helpful to find out what it is like to be at work, it might give you an idea of what you want to do when you leave school and some people are offered a full time job where they do work experience. So I would think carefully and at least have the good manners to apologise to your teacher for causing her problems. That would go a long way towards helping settle the situation down.
