School work really stressing me out! Please help!?

  • I'm 15 and in year 11 at school. I've recently had loads of homework and coursework. Since the beginning of last week I have been getting home from schoo at 4pm and then doing work 'till I go to bed. I've also been doing school work al weekend, its unbelievable how much work I have had. because of all this I have been getting really stressed and depressed and I sometimes end up going to bed crying getting really stressed and depressed and I sometimes end up going to bed crying because this is causing so much stress and sadness. People have told me I need to take breaks from work and enjoy myself, but I cant or else the work won't be completed in time. anyone have any advice that might help me? Please! because this is causing so much stress and sadness. People have told me I need to because this is causing so much stress and sadness. What I used to do was create a schedule of things for me to do. Yeah it seems dumb, but it helps. Planning ahead opens up free time. Write down what you do from when you get home from school to when you go to bed. Once that's done you can time yourself for each task (30 minutes science hw, 1 hr soccer practice, etc). See when you have any free time. If you have to, take a 10 minute break between activities. Take a walk, call a friend, play a quick game, eat a snack, etc. If you like music, play some music while you work. Choose music that's not particularly your favorite but wouldn't mind listening to while you work (I listen to wordless songs while I read and do homework). If you can, from time to time, plan a whole day of no homework and be lazy. Hang out with friends or read your favorite book, etc.
