Getting a job during high school is it hard?

Advice on getting a part time job in high school?

• How do you find work and high school? I want to start looking for a job tomorrow, but I don't want it to affect my school work. I have some friends who work, and they vary in experience. Some say it really affects you and other people say that it doesn't really take up time for school, just time for leisure. I'm in my senior year of high school, have 6 AP classes, and I'm involved in a lot of extra curricular activities. Any job recommendations/ advice?

  If you are getting a job to support your bills, you may not have much choice. If you have an option, choose something that will benefit you in future for career experience or that interests you. Also, any form of physical labor may impact your energy for focusing on all those AP courses and good grades. Decide on what is needed, what will work for your best interests and choose that route.
