Do you have any advice on becoming a CNA?

Becoming a CNA questions?

  • I will soon be taking the CNA course. And i was wondering how old do i have to be to start working as a CNA? does the CNA course come with BLS? (Basic Life Support) If not where can i get the BLS certificate. around how much is it? Mos jobs asks for 1 or 2 years of experience. where can i get it? give me information about the state of Colorado and Texas.! Any additional information would be appreciated

    well the minimum age to enroll in class is 16. However but many facilities require that you be at least 18 to work there and yes the CNA course does come with BLS and you should get your certificate a week after you have pass BLS class and as far as the cost is concern that should cost you around maybe 10-20 dollars but i only payed $10 for mines. and yes most jobs do require that you have 1 or 2 years of experience but some other don't require any just that you have your CNA certificate and BLS card but that's if your lucky and for your experience you will gain some while enrolled in your CNA course i had my first CNA clinical last week which was one interesting experience
