How about mapping the temperature of the gases emitted by a cigarette as the smoke is inhaled. The map could be of a mouth, larynx, trachea, bronchi, and lungs. You could also include a sideline of the temperatures that the inhaled tar remains liquid or gaseous, as opposed to where it is in the body (by temperature). In other words, where it becomes greasy tar and lodges in the trachea or lungs of the person smoking. You could also find a way to measure the amount of second-hand smoke people are getting as opposed to the distance they are from a single smoker--two smokers--three smokers, etc. I'd love to see either one of those done.

Simple, Effective, and pretty cool = Magnetic Levitation. It's essentially circular magnets on a pencil and you have to turn them to be opposite of eachother and the pencil holds them in place and that causes them to "levitate." Pretty cool and easy.
