Job interview questions for school project. Help?
-
I need to do a school project on a job interview. And write an essay on the job, so I was hoping to ask who ever answers this question about the job you do. The job has to be interesting because I have to write about the job. Please answer the questions as thoroughly as possible. And leave your name or make a believable name up if you don't want me to have your real name. Feel free to add any other details in your job. Thanks in advanced. 1. What's your job like? 2. How did you chose your job? 3. Did anything influence you too chose the job you've chosen. 4. If you had not chosen the job you have now what else would you have liked to do? And why that job? 5. What were hardships, difficulties you had to face getting the job you have now? Such as school, money, etc. (If there are any) 6. Is the job what you expected it to be? Is it better than you imagined, or not what you hoped for? Tell me why? 7. Did you do anything else before you did the job your doing now? Anyway that's it. Thanks for helping, and feel free to leave anything about your job that you'd like to add, and tips on how you think I should write my essay about you.

Answer:
Can I write about the job I just lost? Otherwise I'm a bit of a bum at the moment... 1. It (was) a customer services job, just answering the phone to the many disgruntled customers, doing some filing, putting in data in the computer. That sort of thing. 2. I didn't, it was just in the paper when I needed a job. I hate office jobs! 3. Just feeling poor... needing to get some money. Trouble is I was just out of school and with no experience or decent qualifications you have to just take what you're given. 4. I would have gone to uni had I not had that job, I would like to work with animals but getting in that field isn't easy. 5. None, it was near to me, it had parking, it even paid cash in hand. 6. It was not as good as I had imagined (my expectations were low because I'd be stuck in an office!) but they fiddled the taxes, they treated the customers appalingly, we didn't get any lunch breaks, and it was run within the family, so you know, I had some spotty 21 year old being my supervisor, who'd sit on facebook all day and whinge at his mum! They were a bunch of cowboys really! 7. Yeah, silly jobs I had while I was at school. I worked behind a til, and as a gardener, and I was once a door-to-door salesman! Never again! My name is Karen, and it was a terrible job really. But it could be good for your essay because it's real life - you don't leave school and fall into some wonderful career!
