ok 1. 56/11 = 5 1/11 because you have 56 pieces of 11 and 11 goes into 56 5 times. 2. 87/14 6 3/14 because you have 86 pieces of 14 and 14 goes into 86 6 times. 3. Ok for this you need to imagine that you have a cake, You cut it into 10 slices, 1 cake = 10 pieces so if you have 5 cakes you can get 50 pieces so you make it (50+1) / 10 (Sorry for the descriptions but that is way i learnt it)
