Middle school science fair project??!!?

  • i need help finding a science fair project. im in middle school and the project is worth 500 points. i want to do a project about chemistry, surveys, or comparing stuff. i planed to grow a plant but it rained to much to grow one. it due on the fifth of febuary, so please tell me what you did for your middle school science fair project and send me links or project ideas.

    well i did mine on the how the density of a liquid affects its freezing rate where i compared 5-6 different liquids with different densities. i'm not sure if u would wana do it though...

Hmm, the one i id was "Where do sugar crystals grow the fastest, in tap water or in distilled water?" Check it out, and also look for instructions on how to grow edible sugar crystals via the internet. Try not to eat the sugar crystals, cuz if you use paper clips, it will be poisonous. do what cleans teeth the best: - tooth paste - chemicals - baking soda - bleach - hot/cold water - ect. your dentist can provide you with the teeth or if you know anyone who is loosing theirs and is willing to help you out then that's great. I know that this is a good project b/c at my school a student did this and got first place at two science fairs one of them being a city wide science fair. good luck! :)

Both of mine were long term. Both included the same concept: Acid rain and how it affects rocks/plants But I've seen easy ones like - Which ink will run? You draw a 3 inch line of different kinds of markers, ink, pen on a piece of toilet paper and put 5 drops of water and see which on runs the most or What are some facial expressions people show when they're lying? Here you interview them and ask them to tell 5 believable lies about them and observe how they react like twitching, avoiding eye contact, etc
