Help with a personal Response essay for "The Lottery" by Shirley Jackson?

I have to write a personal response essay for my English class on "The Lottery" by Shirley Jackson. I have to write a five paragraph essay explaining my response to the story, i have to pick 3 adjectives to describe how I felt after I had read the story. and I have to explain the 3 reactions in each of the body paragraphs of the essay. My QUESTION is, how do I start my Introduction and Thesis? I know it has something to do with the tag, but how can i start a thesis with this? This is what I think In Shirley Jackson's short story, "The Lottery"...but how do I go from there? Please give me ideas! and if you know how I should start my 1st paragraph that would be greatly appreciated
