Information Technology Trends?

Answer:
I bought one of the first IBM PC decades ago. It cost me $5000 had a one-color screen (green) one floppy disk drive that held a whopping 360,000 bytes of data. Today you cannot buy floppy disks since hard drives, stick drives, cd/dvd. drives and internet cloud storage are the latest data storage devices. These devices run rings around the old and slow floppy disks and are mush more mechanically reliable and mush much more relibable in data accuracy/correctness. So the point i am trying to make is this: everything is EONS better: data storage; CPU processing speeds; monitor/display technology and OMG internet access is so cheap and also reaches the s speed of light (fiber optics). Everyone has PC - pre-schoolers; senior citizens; schools, churches, clubs, libraries, they are everywhere, even the poorest in America can get some level of PC access and access to the net. The newest trend is cloud computing --look at Google Apps for example. You dont need to buy a word processor or spreadsheet or even data stroage. its ll there free to use. This means pcs will just need Internet access and a decient processor so you can have tiney PCs with full functinality. The second trend is voice recognistion and voic prompting from yhe computer looks at the Droid phones that respond to voci inout with voice resposnes. The NCC 1701 Enterprise's computer is here today talking to us!!!! Beam me home Scotty!!!
