How should I start my persuasive essay about keeping a certain novel in my class library?

I have to write a persuasive essay to my teacher, persuading him to keep a certain novel in his classroom library... I've already picked a novel that I liked, and I have one reason and can find some others if I think. But my question is, how should I start my essay? I don't want to start with a "I think you should keep ___ because..." I want maybe a paragraph for my beggining of my essay... something that is remembered and not basic. I also need it to be able to connect to my conclusion, i connect my conclusion and intro pargraphs for more effect. thanks.
