Where can i post my items i want to sell at?

I want to buy/build my own website to sell items I make. Do I need a special license or permit to do this?

  • I sell woodcraft items that I make online to stores like Ebay, Amazon, and Etsy. And they sell pretty well. However, I want to buy and create my own website with the ability to buy directly from me on there (shopping cart, credit card payments, etc). I have no problem building the website or getting it set up, however, I’m not sure if I’m going to need a special license or permit to sell items like this. Can anyone offer any information/advice on this matter? Thanks!

    Depending on your state regulations you must register your business name and get a sales tax identification number. To do this you have to go to your state homepage and look for licenses and permits for business.
