How to bid on cleaning contracts?

I am new to the commercial cleaning business and I think I bid on a building way too high. Please help........?

Since you already know how much time you will be spending on the job all you need to know is how much you charge per man hour. 2 people 2 days per week is only 20 hours a week. At $2,600 that's $130 per man hour. I don't know what the going rate for cleaning services is in your area, but I would be surprised if it was over $40 per man hour and its likely less than that. At $40 per man hour, its an $800 job.
