How can I build my own website?

How can you build a website & offer hundreds of products & have up to date pricing and availibilty of all prod?

  • hey, i'm looking to have someone build me a website. kinda like a online hardware store,like www.hardwarestore.com or drillspot.com. My one major question is : how can you build a website, and offer hundreds of products, and have up to date pricing and availibilty of all the products... i know that these websites can't physically have ALL of these products in stock, i know that they must just order from the manufacturer, and "drop ship" it to you. so how can i start my own website like these, without physically having over like 1 million $$$ in inventory...? also, how can i accept crdit cards other than paypal, or google checkout. i think i want to use a "3rd party merchant" please help even if you only know a part of the above mentioned questions... i thank you.
