What makes a Surgical Office Assistant do?

I work in a care home as a kitchen assistant and my boss........?

• i am a kitchen assistant and when my boss makes all the lunches for the elderly residents, (these by the way are hot dinners like, mash potatoes, pork chops vegetables, chicken, etc.) After all the residents have eaten, and the trolleys come down for the dishes to be washed by me, he stands there with me and if there is any food left over, he will take it off the trays and save it for the next day. Is this right. I feel ill when he does that, but it doesnt bother him. Should i complain to the head office. I am worried i could lose my job if he found out it was me that told. please help. health and safety and hygiene comes to mind. It makes me feel ill that he reheats this mash and vegetables to give the residents to the next day

  No, he definately should not be using left overs, it can make people very ill. also, you should not lose your job - he should. Also: If he was collecting left overs from other peoples plates and then re serving them who knows what illnesses the other residents could be passing around.
