How much should I charge for housekeeping?

  • I am 19 years old and married. One of the Q she asked was that how much I charge. I honestly don't know how much I should charge. The only experience i have is cleaning my own home but other than that i don't have any experience. I told her that she could pay me according to my work but I want to know what would be an estimate on how much I charge her (weekly). I don't want her to pay me way less than what i should be getting. I basically dont want her to take advantage because i don't know how much housekeepers charge.

k you call up the local housecleaning place and get their rates. Then you can base your rate close to theirs. I do in home daycare and that's how I determine my rates is by keeping them close to what the local daycares charge.
