After you sell an item on eBay what do you do?

At what price if you sell and item on ebay would they?

  • I'm not sure but I've heard or thought I heard if you sell and item on ebay over 500$ or something, paypal will hold the money til its shipped? Is this true? Because I'm planning on selling something over $1000 and I need to transfer the money to my bank so I be able to pay the shipping charges, I do not have a printer, so I can't print a label online so I need to confirm this is true or not before I decide to list.

There are some variables, but I want to say that they will hold any amount over $100 if you have a feedback score less than 100. Having your package tracked and being able to prove it arrived will usually get your money released sooner, but if you need the cash to ship it, you are out of luck. Definitely make sure you can pay for the shipping before you list it.
