How do you make money on CafePress?

Can I Sell stuff from cafepress onto ebay?

• I just joined Cafepress and created my first tshirts. I also joined ebay. Now , can I dreate my tshirt at Cafepress and sell it for a higher price on ebay ?....For example if the tshirt on cafepress is $15 can I sell it for $40 on ebay and make profit like that?....I think Cafepress stated that they will add the extra difference in my amount to my earnings...I am using paypal with all this...So, basically, I am creating my tshirt on cafepress and then going over to ebay to sell it....and if the buyer on ebay buys it they send me the money on paypal....Then I go over to cafepress and pay them the money at the cafepress price and Cafepress ships it to the customer......Can I do like this?? Also, will cafepress mention that cafepress price on the shirt when they ship it? How can I avoid the customer from seeing the real price??.... Also, do I have to get any sort of business license to do this? I am from New York. I dont have a job ...so I dont pay taxes yet. But cafepress did ask me to enter my Social Security number when I joined. Do I have to get any kind of licenses to do this??

  Well I can't speak for Cafepress, you'd have to email them and get a direct answer on that. But if you think you could sell them for more on ebay why not just buy 2 shirts from Cafepress yourself and then ship it yourself when you sell one. Worst case you bought yourself 2 shirts for $30. but if you sell them you put in your own invoice so you are worry free on that front. As for license every jurisdiction is different. But if you bought them yourself you are selling a personal item so think you can avoid any kind of licensing needs from my view. But if you start selling in volume then you best look into any licensing needs at that point.
