Before I get into this, here is how to get the job application. Look around the store and find a computer screen in the wall with a hidden keyboard under it. That is their "kiosk" where you apply electronically in their store. If you can't find it, ask a sales person or manager. Working at Abercrombie & Fitch or Hollister Co. (both same company) has it's pros and cons. The schedule is very flexible. You tell them your available hours and you will be scheduled somewhere within those specified time slots. You also specify the max. amt. of hours you can work per week and they do their best not to over that. The pay is minimum wage ($7.50 in California), starting salary if you are PTI (Part Time Impact - those who work in the stockroom) or Model (the sales reps on the floor), and this goes for all starters. The job is demanding, but not incredibly difficult. If anything, it is one of the most enjoyable jobs you could have because you do feel part of a family. The stockroom workers and the sales reps have two very different jobs. If you like to always be doing something, then PTI (stockroom) might be for you. Here, you will go through shipment, take down inventory, pull USRs (Units Sold Report), sensor all new inventory, and so on. If you like to sort of relax, then Model will be for you. You deal with customers, fold clothes based on the standards [board-folding (that's how they get the stacks so pretty and neat), size-order, etc.], work on the register, greet customers, and so forth. The register/cashwrap is very easy compared to most other retailers. The computer basically tells you every step to do so minimal training is involved in that. Hopefully this helped.
