How To Get Product Key For Sygic?

I have an idea for a new product, how do I get started?

  • I was recently looking for a product in stores and online that I figured would be available to buy, after weeks of looking I have found products that are a little similar to what I am looking for but did not do the job as good as my homemade one. Everyone I know has told me it's amazing and has asked me to make some for them. I want to have this product made and know it would sell great on one of those TV infomercials. But, I have no idea how to get started. I don't have much money to start and don't want to spend it all making mistakes while getting started. I have no idea where to begin. Can anyone help me figure out the path to getting my product manufactured and sold. I know I will need a patent, but how do I patent an idea or a homemade product...obviously I would want it professionally made. How do I find manufacturers, how do I get on an infomercial? I am completely clueless, please help! Thanks!

  • Answer:

license your idea to other companies. create a simple prototype. protect your idea with a provisional patent application. it's much cheaper than the patent and protects for a year. during that year you can search for a buyer. the ppa allows you to say your patent is pending. make a prospect list of possible manufacturers who would purchase your item and manufacture it for you and pay you a license royalty on each item sold. first look for companies who have bought other items from product developers in the past. this means they are open to that. don't try to sell to a manufacturer that is completely in house. create a sell sheet. it's like an ad for your idea.do a simple google search on how to create a sell sheet for the format. start contacting your prospect list. a good way to find manufactures is to look through the thomas register. do a search for thomas register to find their site. or go to the library and they should a the complete volumes in the resource section. those are the basics. i did a simple google search to find. if you don't want to sell the idea and get a royalty then your starting a full business. you can outsource the creation of the product. find out if they offer credit. that way they can make them and bill you later. sell the items and pay your invoice from sales. not a good idea though. starting the business head to the library and search online. would be too much to add here. plus you might be looking at certain regulations depending on what the item is. research that. good luck.

Firstly don't tell anyone else about your idea. Go see a patent lawyer who will be able to give you advice on whether or not your product is patentable and will also be able to write and submit the patent for you with the USPTO. After you have submitted your patent application, start meeting with investors in order to finance your operation. Then meet with manufacturers who will be able to mass produce your product. Then meet with retailers who sell similar products and try to get a contract with them that they will order a certain amount of your product every month and resell it to customers. You could also open an internet site and sell the product there. The main thing to remmeber is that if you don't push to make it happen, noone else will. Good luck!!!
