What are my chances of getting hired at WalMart if.........?

I went to 2 interviews and the day after the hiring manager called my references and she called one of them three times because he didnt answer and then she called me and told me she didnt answer.. i mean if they werent interested in me they wouldnt call so many times right? the lady was very nice to me on the phone too she was laughing and making jokes with me. what do you think my chances are of getting hired?
