Answer:
Parents aren't allowed out of the cars during pick-up.You have a drive-thru at the front door instead, and a staff member places the child in the car.My kid's prekindergarten required it to speed up dismissal times.Parents were only allowed in the classroom if the teacher allowed it,and only one at a time in rotation.I often stayed an hour after drop off to eat breakfast with my daughter before going to work. And ended up helping all the other kids as well who couldn't open milk cartons or open plastic bags.Make it a policy that they have to have someone else watching the child before the daycare workers time is free. And only if no other parents are around.

its my idea that you should hav the parents leave 2 at a time (to eliminate the congestion) adding order to picking their children up it would give them a moment to ''hang'' around while a sense of purpose would urge them to keep their kids close while waiting their turn to leave,i also think that some signs put up on the entrance door and lobby explaining to parents that for safety reasons they are asked to not distract the teachers and maybe once a week you could scedule a time when parents could talk to them as it is a concern to see how their kids are behaving, what they are learning ,just not while the teachers still hav other kids to watch ...

Send out a memo stating that parents must supervise children at all times once they are signed out. Additionally, should they need a meeting to discuss their child's progress, that they need to make an appointment.
