What is the exact name for profession that deals with business law and contracts?

• A friend of mine was explaining to me that he had a friend that worked with enclosure of contracts. She worked for a specific business company and her job was to meet with the officials and have agreements of whether a company/business stays open or dismissed. She got to travel and all her expenses were payed for by the company she worked for. She didn't travel as a vacation but say if she had business in Paris for example they would pay for her transportation and living arrangements. Does anyone know exactly what that profession might be called or commonly referred as.
