I want to open a eBay store but can you help me please.?

I am a 19 year old Male. I want to open an eBay store, is it a good idea to sell more than one kind product? I mean I don't want to limit myself to one kind of product only, I want to sell, jewelery, clothes and antiques. I was thinking of buying items in BULK from Wholesale websites or even eBay. Then re-sell each Individual item. Will this work? For example, If I buy 50 sets of Necklaces + Earings for $50 Can I re-sell each for lets say, $10 each. So $10 x 50(items sold) = $500 Also any tips you can give me for my eBay store. What is a good User-Name I can use? Thanks So Much

Make sure that the items you are considering are really priced at wholesale. Some "wholesalers" and drop shippers just say that prices are below retail. Look for the items that you are considering already FOR sale (or sold) on Ebay ,Yahoo, Amazon and other sites. Did they really sell and at a profit or were they just listed. As I have suggested to others---try to take a class at a local community college or somewhere to learn what tools are available. If you decide to go ahead with your plan be aware that quite a lot of time is required to do well. Good Luck
