I sold an item on eBay, and someone emailed me to ship it to Nigeria. Is it a scam? Read more detail here..?

Someone bought what I sold on eBay. That was good. Then, I sent an invoice. I checked PayPal, and haven't received the payment yet. Then, I got an email stating that he sent $650.00 to PayPal, and that PayPal will credit it into my account immediately after I provide the tracking number by emailing at (paypal.tracking.confirmed@emailaccount.... and ship the item to the address and the country in Nigeria. I checked on PayPal site again, but didn't find the pending $650 yet. Is this real or is it scam? Any help and advice appreciated.

Answer:
SCAM. The email you got is not really from Paypal. If you go to paypal.com and don't see the money in your account, it was never sent. Paypal never asks you to provide tracking information, NEVER. Report this to Ebay and Paypal ASAP and do not send the item for any reason. They know all about these scams The fact that Paypal does not allow accounts from Nigeria is all you need to know to prove this is a scam. Do not ship anything and have nothing to do with this "buyer"

Usually, anything online involving Nigeria is a scam. Report to Paypal, also, report his ID to ebay. Don't send him anything because I'm sure that payment is not going to go through.
