How can I apply for real government grants?

Anybody know where i can get some real information on how to get government grants to open a business?

    Only if your business is for urgent need to the community will you get a grant. Setting up a business such as doing nails will never qualify. Example of qualifying: A daycare in the middle of a housing project that currently has none. A school for the blind in a needy area. Contact your better business bureau, or even the chamber of commerce for leads. Don't get scammed by all the things you'll see online. They'll ask you for money - and you'll get nothing in return. /
