Where To Find Wholesale Clothing Distributors?

Where can I find legitimate wholesale clothing suppliers for my new clothing business?

  • For the past few weeks i have been overwhelmed by the amount of wholesalers out there on the internet. I can't seem to find a wholesaler that carries what i'm looking for (elegant and fashionable clothing made with quality material). l am very concerned about all the scammers out there as well and in my research, i have come across many that are very obvious about it. I came across the website Tuttistyle.com and i like some of the clothing that they have, but i have learned to be weary of Asian suppliers as most of them are likely to be fake. Also I cannot find any customer reviews anywhere on the Tuttistyle site or in google...which i find very strange. Its getting to be a very frustrating task because all the searches i've done all came back to the fact that I can't be sure if the wholesaler is in fact legitimate. I'm starting to wonder if I really have what it takes to start my own business...its very overwhelming and discouraging. So my question is, where can I find legitimate and reliable wholesalers? and also, has anyone purchased anything from Tuttistyle.com. I am open to the idea of traveling to the US to make my purchases as long as the online supplier has a brick and mortar showroom... but again, i need to verify that they are real before i hop on a plane.... I apologize for such a long post...just wanted to be as thorough as possible lol. Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! !

You should attend the MAGIC show in Las Vegas at the end of August. It's the largest apparel tradeshow in the country - it's not as big as it was a few years ago (2007 and before), but I think you should be able to find things. To me it's really overwhelming!! There are multiple subtradeshows going on at the same time. http://www.magiconline.com/ Las Vegas is very close to Los Angeles which is the fashion hub of the US. You should plan your trip so you hit the LA fashion district too. Many showrooms will be closed the week of magic, so you would want to plan your trip accordingly. In LA, you can just walk the California Mart and other fashion marts in the area. - LA is about 5 hours from Vegas by car or a 1 hour / $150 plane trip. Add'l Info: when I say not as big it use to be - It use to take up the LV convention center, have tents in the parking lot, and have satelitte events in some of the hotels. - LV convention center is pretty GIGANTIC. Last year, it was 2/3 of the LV convention center, no more tents, but had grown to include some of the other hotels in Vegas. ** this is mostly female clothes (missy, junior some plus), a large selection of mens clothes, a tiny childrens section (the rest is somewhere else), a small lingerie section (that's mostly at the CURVES show), swim, and then a mismash of other things. They also have a break out group for high end jeans called project, a break out group called pool for more hip clothes, slate is streetwear. - I've probably forgotten things. - I don't think you will be able to find a list of vendors before you go.

Most wholesale sites online are legitimate, I haven't experienced any scams thus far. Try goodstuffapparel.com This website has cute trendy clothing and for what you pay you get really amazing quality. I can't say the same for most websites that are at the same price. Also honestly, you need to head out to Vegas twice a year and check out the off price show. Here you will find a ton of great merchandise at low prices and also form lasting connections with manufacturers.

I have a few favorite wholesale clothing suppliers, one I will share with you is good stuff apparel. They are cheap and trendy and help me grab the attention of customers that walk by my boutique with the low prices I can offer. I would be apprehensive of any site that ships from out of the country otherwise I have found dozens of online sites that have all be legitimate thus far. The Magic show is a perfect show to attend if your looking for nicer merchandise but if you want cheaper clothing go to the Off Price show in vegas as well. Good luck in your search.

Firstly if you are looking for legitmate wholesale clothing companies then head over to Las Vegas Off Price show twice a year. Here you will find every wholesaler under the sun. In terms of shopping online which can be the most beneficial way of buying, you need to find your go to websites that fit your style of your boutique and of course provide cheap clothing. I would recommend goodstuffapparel.com Cheap clothing and trendy enough for my customers. This site won't work for everyone though so be sure to find some wholesale clothing directories and just go down the list. Have fun with it!

You can always find "cheaper" price wholesale websites, but that may come with the cost of bad quality and terrible customer service. If you are looking for a supplier with good quality at reasonable price, you may check http://www.fanshilong.com Hope to hear from you soon :)

I agree, trade shows are your best bet. do a search for those. most should have a site with travel info etc but they should also have a list of the fashion designers that will be at the trade show. with that list see if any of them have facebook pages and join their pages. this is a way you can learn more about the legit designers out there and connect with them on FB via messaging to ask direct questions. Find trade publications for your industry. they are always free and offer information you can't get from other places. tradepub.com join your industry trade organizations. they may be willing to offer advice and networking opportunities which is crucial. if all else fails make them yourself with the help of a seamstress. find a woman who can sew and find someone who can design. if money is a concern contract with students at art colleges. you can work on a line or one piece at a time. depends on your industry and budget. promote your pieces and produce them in bulk yourself. best of luck to you.

Hello, I could observe that you are really not happy with the wholesale clothing suppliers those lack legitimacy. So I suggest you to visit the following site where the suppliers are listed only after the certain steps of legitimacy check. So please visit:
