Is it true that PayPal isn't always trustworthy?

Can i start selling on ebay with paypal even if my paypal isnt fully complete?

  • i shut down my paypal a while ago and now decided to reopen it and i need to put the two digits in from my bank, i have confirmed my bank this is just to confirm my card, can i still sell on ebay and get money paid into paypal or do i have to wait for the amount to be put into my bank and then add it to paypal and then start selling and getting money put into my paypal, it takes for ever for this to happen thanks

    if you're going to sell you need a full-powered paypal account. you can just buy things if you want. but don't sell until your account is fully upgraded. if you try to sell without a full account, they'll lock your account and freeze the money you were supposed to receive, and that investigation will take a very long time compared to the few days you are going to be waiting now.

It takes only a few days to record the two deposits to your account and you wont be able to use Paypal until that is completed. You can write up your ad while you are waiting and get the text and the photos ready.
