Where Is Ebay In New Zealand?

Ebay buyer asked me if i could ship to New Zealand?

  • Answer:

On your listing there is a Shipping Calculator near the price. Click on it and enter the necessary information. This will give you a shipping estimate for using either UPS of US Mail. US Mail is generally cheaper. When selecting the destination just choose International and then choose New Zealand. Once you get the shipping rate, let's just say you decide to go with Priority International and the shipping price is $45. Send your buyer an email and tell them that shipping will be $45 (or $50 if you want some room for error just in case) and tell them when the auction is over, to wait until you send them an invoice. When the auction is over, click on Send Invoice. Near the bottom of the Invoice page it lets you adjust the shipping price. Enter the $45 or $50 there. Send the invoice and when they pay for it it will have the correct amount. Package your stuff and take it to the post office and tell them you want to send it Priority International (or whichever you decide to use) and then pay for it. Be sure to get Delivery Confirmation as well so that you can track the package up until the point it leaves the US. That's it. Not difficult at all!

Shipping is more to NZ but not all that much more. You can find out the rate at usps.com If item will fit in a USPS Priority envelope and is under 4 lbs), there is a flat rate. Rates and times given at ebay are usually wrong.

Before you answer the question, look up the USPS website and see what shipping cost and method would be and let the person know. You have to fill out a customs declaration and insurance and delivery tracking are not available out of the country unless you ship with UPS or Fedex which is more costly.
