How to use Paypal for my online Business?

  • I'm sorry for being a noob. But I need to exactly know (in steps) - How I can use 'Paypal' for my online business. For example, I publish my own website promoting home made and branded candles. Let's skip the IRS filing of my sole business (it's off topic, but it's a good thing to do right?) I'd like to use Paypal, what's next? [1] Do I make a unique account for website business in Paypal? Or can I just use/make any other accounts linked to my bank account? [2] Is it complicated to script Paypal buttons on my website? (For example putting a 'buy' label next to a picture of a candle?) [3] Lastly, how does transaction work? Do I send my customer the candle and until he receives it; his 'buy' money is withheld? (Then what if he refuses to pay) [4] How do I give people's 'change' through online Paypal? Do I need to have money in my bank account and my bank does it for me?     First of all make sure that your business is registered then follow these steps. Go to paypal.com and sign up for an account. It is free. Be sure to select business in the products section Fill out the form and click enter. This will take you to your account page. Just fill in the description of your product and get the button code to put on your website. Whenever your customer clicks on a buy now buttom on your website it will take him to a secure order page on the paypal site where he will fill in his payment information. Then he will return to your website. Your customers can either use their paypal account to pay or they can use their credit cards. Once they click on a buy now button. Paypal charges a small fee per transaction for their online payment services so be sure to read the pricing page. You can have your money sent to any bank account, request a check or use the paypal debit mastercard at an ATM.
