    I used a outsource accounting firm to do my bookkeeping and tax. I have never give them physical accounting record/document. I just scan my document and send it to their server. not 100% sure what do you mean "allowed to remove" Is that any law that prohibit you from giving accounting record to your accountant?

"allowed?" I am not there to ask the owner. There must be SOME way to get the data to the accountant. It seems that you are upset about this physical movement of documents. If they are "off premise"--how are they supposed to get them?
