Are there small business ideas?

Small business ideas?

  • Im 18 years old, in full time work and would like to start a small business, something that can start off small and grow so that in 5 years time I can give up my job and still have a good income. Ive considered buying and selling online through eBay and thought I could eventually make my own website and be similar to Play.com. What other ideas could I look into? The reason I want to start my own business is because I'd like to be my own boss, not having to please anyone but myself. Another reason is that I left school with poor grades and was told I wouldnt get nowhere in life and I know deep down Id never be happy unless I proved everyone wrong. Thanks in advance for your ideas/help :')

Complete a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis and write a business plan to prove that the business idea is workable.
