How can I get rid of the scrape on my face?

Biopsy on the Face? (20 characters)?

  • Tomorrow morning I have an appointment at the St. Louis Children's hospital to get a biopsy on a lump on my face. It is just below my eye and right next to my nose. The doctor said he is probably going to go in through my lip so I won't have a scar. What should I expect? Will it hurt a lot - or just a little? I know there's going to be a huge needle, will he scrape against the lump or pull a piece of it off with it? Has anyone had anything like this before? Anything that has to do with what I should expect pain and procedure wise please answer below. All answers are appreciated!

  • Answer:

My husband had one removed from his face as well. They gave him Twilight Anesthesia for it. I assume they are going to knock you out since he is going through your lip. They usually just scrape it...but you should be fine.
